Sol Kyung Gu (Venus & Mars) reprises his most famous role as the eccentric cop Kang Cheol Joong in Public Enemy Returns, the third installment of the popular police action trilogy Public Enemy. Director Kang Woo Suk (Silmido) presents what is by far the best opening record achieved by a Korean film in 2008. Written by Jang Jin, the mastermind behind Welcome to Dongmakgol, this action-packed thriller also stars Jung Jae Young (Going By The Book).
Orchestrated by Jo Young Wook, the mastermind behind high-caliber soundtracks for such films as Old Boy, Silmido, Sympathy For Lady Vengeance, The Contact, and A Dirty Carnival, Public Enemy Returns OST features tracks from both the original and the latest film releases. Filled with a variety of original and rearranged scores, the album includes Public Enemy (Track 1) and Kang Cheol Joong (Track 30) - two tracks that were used as the main theme throughout the trilogy. Both tracks also feature samplings from British alternative electronica band Asian Dub Foundation's Journey.
