World premiere release of the early great Hard-boiled jazz score by Kunio Miyauchi to 1962 suspence thriller film KOROSHI WO OE (CHASE THE KILLER) is like Hitchcock's REAR WINDOW. This score was written fours years before ULTRA Q, and you can still hear 'Miyauchi' sound!
Maki travels from Japan to Hong Kong and Thailand in order to show the superiority of Japanese karate to those countries' native to martial arts. Romance, intrigue, martial arts are the ingredients of this films atmosphere. Directed by Hideo Nanbu. 1978. Japan.
