CINEMA-KAN and KADOKAWA CINEMA COLLECTION present the world premiere releases of two classic Japanese films directed by Yasuzo Masumura and staring Ayako . Both A WIFE CONFESSES and IREZUMI are popular and masterpieces in Japanese film history, however, these soundtrack have never been released before. Two soundtracks on one CD including unused scores and alternate tracks.

A WIFE CONFESSES (1961) (Music composed by Riichiro Manabe): Ayako is charged with murdering her much older academic husband while climbing a mountain. Ayako was having an affair, apparently with her husband's approval, and this complicates the trial. --- from IMDb.

IREZUMI (1966) (Music composed by Hajime Kaburagi): Shinsuke and Otsuya, his boss' daughter runs away to get married, but they are betrayed by the inn owner, Kenji. Otsuya is sold to Tokubei's brothel. Seikichi, a mysterious tattoo artist puts his masterpiece, a human-faced spider, on her back. She and her lover are then forced into a conspiracy-born nightmare, where they face the danger of becoming the very evil they seek to escape.
