REWIND - THE STUDIO ALBUM

On July 20, 2013, Franco De Gemini passed away at the age of 84 after a long illness. One year after his loss, the publishing group he ran for nearly half a century wishes to remember him through a box set that will feature some of his most beautiful, important and meaningful performances. With OUR WAY, we make available a previously-unreleased recording created by the Ferraran harmonica player together with his friend Francesco de Masi, a constant presence in his career and private life.

In 1980, the two artists recorded an album with twelve orchestral cues, arranged and conducted by the Roman Maestro to highlight his friend the harmonica. The album features great themes by Riz Ortolani, John Barry, Henry Mancini, Victor Young and many others, including two new cues composed by Maestro de Masi, all arranged for an orchestra in which the solo harmonica of Franco De Gemini is the undoubtable protagonist. The CD is released in a slim jewel case with maxi inlay card, visible picture disc and external obi (spine card).
