known as being part of the Oscar-winning team that supervised and orchestrated Bernstein’s music for West Side Story. His soundtrack to the 1969 movie Stiletto, based on a book by Harold Robbins, features lyrics by Alan and Marilyn Bergman and orchestrations by Dick Hazard. Stiletto succeeds not only as a soundtrack, but as great music - it has a cool 60s sound that never gets old.
