This is the orignal soundtrack album CD composed for the 1987 cult film WHITE MISCHIEF, Directed by Michael Radford (Postino, Il) and starring Sarah Miles (The Man Who Loved Cat Dancing), John Hurt (Alien) Greta Scacchi (Presumed Innocent) and Hugh Grant (Two Weeks Notice). George Fenton this evocative score also contains some classic music by Tchaikovsky and BEGIN THE BEGUINE by Cole Porter. In addition, the actress Sarah Miles sings THE ALPHABET SONG. George's score embraces the era of forties and the dance bands, Jazz as well as sweeping movie music. Recorded in Digital Sound at Abbey Road Studios.
