GDM Music releases for the first absolute time on CD the ost composed by Benedetto Ghiglia for the spy movie BALEARI OPERAZIONE ORO (aka ZARABANDA BING BING) directed in 1966 by Jose Maria Forqu and starring Daniela Bianchi, Marilu Tolo, Mireille Darc, Jacques Sernas, Venantino Venantini, Jose Luis Lopez Vazquez, Harold Sakata. Earlier in the crystalline waters of the Balearic islands a plane had sunk containing a precious heirloom: a golden scepter. The object, retrieved, goes to the local museum, but its value attracts the interest of several people: a young American heiress, two international thieves and a fascinating woman collector of jewels. Despite the arrival of a special agent to oversee the precious relic, the scepter is immediately stolen. In its place is left a copy, too soon taken away by other hands, unaware of the first replacement, resulting in a welter of misunderstandings, chases and plot twists. Benedetto Ghiglia has written a Latin flavored OST unleashed by wild Mambo, Bossa, Samba tunes alternated to jazzy passages, beat dancefloor tunes, and sometimes with the lively performance of Cantori Moderni di Alessandroni. At that time C.A.M. released an LP with 19 selections and with a duration of 41:51. Using the mono master tapes of the recording session inedit material was discovered that brings the CD to the total length of 63:18. ---from the label
