GDM Music presents the complete OST of Robby Poitevin for the Italian spy movie “A.D.3 Operazione squalo bianco” (aka “Operation white shark”) directed in 1966 by Filippo Walter Ratti, starring Rod Dana and Janine Reynaud Robby Poitevin has written one of its better OST for the Spy kind movies (a lot searched from the OST fans in the world). The recurrent main theme “The Syndicate” is a sweeping motif of adventurous flavour with Latin elements and shake arrangement for harpsychord and orchestra (than winks the Jerry Goldsmith theme for “Our Man Flint”) alternated to a sparkling Bossa called “Bubba Dub Bossa” introduced from the whistle of Alessandroni and performed by Cantori Moderni choir. The main theme returns frequently with variations, slow and fast, in the OST alternated to suspence pieces.
Track ListThe film “L'uomo del colpo perfett” (aka “Hot diamonds in cold blood”) directed in 1967 by Aldo Florio, starring Richard Harrison, Alida Chelli and Rosalba Neri is characterized by the dance floor main and end titles theme, a shake for orchestra and choir, several suspence cues of psychedelic flavour (very well rendered in stereo) and two belly dances shake style.
