LE CINEMA D' ANDRE TECHINE

With Claude Sautet, Romance Polanski and Bertrand Tavernier, are one of the major scenario writers of the type-setter Philippe Sardinian. Their first collaboration, Barocco, will be worth Cesar with the musician, in particular thanks to the envoutante song 'One is seen being seen', interpreted by Marie-France. From there, Sardinian will put in music all large films of Techine : Hotel of Americas, Go, the Place of the Crime, My Preferred Season, Alice and Martin, the Stray ones...
Conceived on the same principle as the Cinema of Claude Sautet, this album is listened like a portrait musical of the director, in balance between songs, romantic and symphonic gravity. A portrait which evokes also the faces of the actresses who illuminated the cinema of Techine : Catherine Deneuve, Isabelle Adjani, Juliette Binoche, Emmanuelle Beart.
Sardinian / Techine : thirty years of collaboration between seventy minutes of music.
