Michel Legrand: HIER & DEMAIN (5CD)

This year, Michel Legrand would have been 90 years old. Composer, conductor, pianist, singer, director, he was the man of all musical situations. This new anthology, called Hier & demain (Yesterday and Tomorrow), tells us about a destiny and, even better, it invents a future for it.

Hier & demain (Yesterday & Tomorrow), opens with contemporary covers and re-readings, that is to say the look at Legrand by performers such as Juliette Armanet, Clara Luciani, Thomas Dutronc, Natalie Dessay, Philippe Katerine, Joe Hisaishi, Maurane, Macha Meril, Jasmine Roy and Al Jarreau, Camille Bertault, Benjamin Legrand, and many others.

Capbox 5CD: This edition contains a CD of covers and re-readings as well as four other albums which work by theme: vocal, jazz, instrumental variety and (very) original tapes and unreleased titles.
