The cult tokusatsu hero songs from the tokusatsu movie "Nezulla 1964" by Chumei Watanabe & Akira Kushida is finally available on CD!

Mr. Chumei Watanabe is a master of Tokusatsu and animation music, known to everyone from Mazinger Z to Space Cop Gabin. Although he is beloved for his music for robots and heroes, this is surprisingly the first and last time he composed for a "Kaiju" (monsters) movie. Akira Kushida's passionate singing, including soulful shouts, creates an energetic Chumei sound.

"Akira Kushida "Daigunju Nezulla (Short Ver.)" Ending song for the movie "NEZULLA 1964"."

Nezulla 1964" is a new Tokusatsu Kaiju (Sci-fi Monster) movie that opened at the Ikebukuro HUMAX Cinemas on December 19, 2020. The film is created in a unique worldview where two worlds intersect: the film crew struggling to complete the movie "Nezulla" and the fictional swarm beast Nezulla. Maestro Chumei Watanabe took these elements and used the same melody to create two orchestral arrangements from the perspective of the "movie staff side" and the "Nezulla side" (the arranger is Kenichiro Oishi, whom Mr. Chumei trusts to be in charge of the arrangements).

"A Day of Youth," a cheering song from the perspective of the film crew, who never give up and face the challenges of making a film no matter what problems arise. The dark hero's requiem, "Swarm Beast Nezulla," depicts the end of the battle against Nezulla, which swarms in large numbers, devouring and overrunning the city. The birth of these two songs is a historical event in the world of Tokusatu songs!
