IL SOLE NERO

Reissue. BLACK SUN is the latest film by Polish director Krzysztof Zanussi which revolves around the eternal conflict between good and evil. It is based on the theatrical work written by Rocco Familiari, “Agata”, inspired by a true story which took place in Catania (southern Italy).
This drama stars Valeria Golino (Agata), Lorenzo Balducci (Manfredi), Kaspar Capparoni (Salvo), Mariella Lo Sardo, Victoria Zinny, Remo Girone, and Toni Bertorelli.

The dramatic score is composed and arranged by Wojciech Kilar, recorded with the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Antoni Wit.
