From Giallo to zombie films, Italian horror film soundtracks have become a cornerstone of the record reissue market in recent years. There is not a month that goes by that collectors cannot acquire new soundtracks for "Suspiria," "Zombie 2," "Nightmare City," and dozens of other terrifying titles. The music of Italian comedies, on the other hand, lies largely unacknowledged, at least to this day.

Screenwriter Eli Roth, who loves Giallo films (and their soundtracks), has teamed up with CAM Sugar, one of Italy's most venerable record labels, to collect cues from the heyday of "commedia sexy alle Italiana" (sexy Italian comedies) in a compilation.

Many of the tracks are being released for the first time outside of film music. Eli Roth, Tarantino's right-hand man and Italian B-movie connoisseur, has selected 20 juicy tracks from Italian sexy comedies and softcore films (1969-1981), ranging from kinky disco and funk to seductive bossa nova and psychedelic. Includes 9 previously unreleased tracks. Unique vocal performances by actress and sexy Italian comedy actress Gloria Guida, and music from the cult masters of Italian film music, including Stelvio Cipriani, Bruno Nicolai, Liz Ortolani, Franco Campanno, Gianni Ferrio, and Nico Fidenko.
