LES DEMOISELLES DE ROCHEFORT (5CD)

The immortal Jacques Demy's film Les Demoiselles de Rochefort (The Young Girls of Rochefort) celebrates its half-century at the Grand Rex in Paris (September 30 / October 1) with a concert by Michel Legrand Official with his big band.

To participate in this event, the Universal Music France soundtrack series Ecoutez le cinema! is proud to present a ''definitive'' 5 CDs edition including the original French version; the English-language version; the instrumental version; and, for the first time ever, every orchestral playback and several previously-unreleased work-sessions and demos. Plus a sumptuous booklet of 40 pages featuring an interview with Michel Legrand and previously unpublished photographs.
