Directed by the original manga artist Katsuhiro Otomo, "Akira" revives in 4K remaster in the year the story took place. Comes in 4K scan, 4K remastering, and HDR. Remastered in 5.1 ch audio by sound director, Shoji Yamashiro. This is a set of a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, 4K remastered Blu-ray and a bonus Blu-ray disc. Comes with booklet and special sleeve packaging. This is a 4K Ultra HD product. Note that 4K Ultra HD can not be played in conventional Blu-ray and DVD players. You will need a recorder or player compatible with Ultra HD Blu-ray standards. Also, in order to enjoy the quality of HDR (High Dynamic Range), you will need a 4K TV or projector compatible with HDR. While this disc can be played on non-HDR 4K TVs or Hi Vision TVs, note that it will be shown in SDR which is the conventional color gamut.
